Canadian violinist Véronique Mathieu has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Canada, Europe, South Africa, South America, and the United States. An avid contemporary music performer, Véronique commissioned and premiered many works by American and Canadian composers, and recorded for the CD series New Music at Indiana University, the label of Radio-Canada, Centrediscs, and Pheromone. Her recent collaboration with composer Adam Scime was covered by the Strad Magazine, and successfully reviewed in Toronto. Upcoming recording projects include a CD of contemporary solo works with pianist Jasmin Arakawa for Parma Records, Canadian compositions for violin and piano with pianist Stephanie Chua featuring world premieres by Brian Harman and Adam Scime, as well as a recording with Trio Micheletti.

This season includes concerto performances in Brazil and Kansas, an East Coast tour with the Art of Time Ensemble, and chamber music concerts in Milan, Italy and Tbilisi, Georgia.
